DPI Specialty Foods, a market leader in the food distribution industry, currently has an opening for an experienced Functional Lead Procurement.
The Functional Lead – Procurement is responsible for identifying and documenting requirements, analyzing them from a business/functional perspective and developing solutions to meet the identified need. The Functional Lead is responsible for understanding the requirement and/or issue to be addressed, proposing, modeling, and designing a potential solution, reviewing this solution with his or her peers, business partners and stakeholders, configuring appropriate functionality within the Oracle E-Business Suite and managing the testing process to assure the business requirement has been met

- Have a solid understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite Purchasing, including iSupplier, PO Management, Real Time Scheduling/Appointment Scheduler, and reporting;
- Be responsible for interacting with clients and requestors to analyze requirements, define, size, cost and configure the proposed solution;
- Utilize Oracle EBS and Demantra Advanced Forecasting Features to develop forward-buy models and forecast demand;
- Establish project task lists with start and completion dates;
- Oversee project management activities, including: contribution to task identification, work effort estimates, work schedules; tracking against plan and budget;
- Develop new extensions or configure current modules as needed to address business issues;
- Research and provide solutions to issues reported by the user or other team members;
- Work cooperatively with other team members of IT staff;
- Provide assistance to other functional team members, leads, support team members and/or analysts as needed;
- Document technical and user procedures/processes;
- Thoroughly test configurations, business rules, extensions, enhancements/modifications and management of the migration process into the productive environment;
- Drive the implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite Purchasing;
- Test system, reports and documents issues;
- Conduct periodic reviews with users and project business participants to show the latest system functionalities;
- Utilize statistical skills/tools to analyze data and measure its quality; investigates gaps and discrepancies; develops and produces data analysis reports and studies;
- Participate in team building and development.
- BA/BS degree in MIS or MIS/IT Certification required
- Oracle EBS Certification Preferred
