Merchandiser (Fairbanks,AK)

DPI Specialty Foods, the Northwest's leading specialty grocery distributor, currently seeks a F/T Merchandiser to service multiple grocery stores in the Fairbanks area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
* Stock and merchandize shelves.
* Sell promotions, shippers and new items.
* Inform customers of new items, promotions, distributions, demos, new programs, pricing guarantee status and saleable features.
* Field problems, concerns and compliants from customers.
* Communicate information receive at store-level.

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* At least one year of previous retail or merchandising experience.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
* Ability to work independently.
* Clean DMV report, valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
* Must have basic math skills.
* Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions.
* Knowledge of the grocery business preferred.
